Out of the box
Some throws ship vacuum-boxed to cut the carton size. Shake it out, or run it through a wash, and it comes back to full loft.

Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Wash a faux fur on its own the first time.

Drying
Tumble dry low, or air dry. High heat is what flattens fleece and mats a pile — it is the one thing to avoid.

Keeping the pile
Skip bleach and fabric softener. Softener coats polyester fibres and leaves the surface flat rather than soft.

Fold rather than compress. Folded pile recovers; long compression sets a crease you have to wash out.

Answers before you order
Can I put it in the washing machine?
Yes — every throw we sell is machine washable, including the faux furs and the sherpa reversibles. Cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or air dry.
Why did mine arrive flat?
Some throws ship vacuum-boxed, which cuts the carton size and the shipping footprint that goes with it. Shake it out or run it through a wash and it returns to full loft.
Is the faux fur real fur?
No. Our faux furs are 100% polyester — the aim is the silky hand of real fur with no animal product involved.
Which size covers a bed?
90 × 90 covers a queen with an even drop on both sides. 60 × 80 works better as a layer across the foot of a bed, and 50 × 60 is a one-person lap throw.
Will fabric softener help?
It does the opposite. Softener coats polyester fibres and leaves the surface flat — the fabric is already soft, and plain detergent keeps it that way.
What's your return window?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, on items that are unopened, unused and in their original packaging with the packing slip enclosed. A $5 return handling fee comes off the refund, return shipping is at your expense, and original outbound shipping isn’t refunded — including on orders that shipped free. Refunds reach your original payment method roughly 7–10 business days after we receive the item.
What if it arrives damaged?
Contact us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll send a return label and a replacement at no cost to you. The replacement ships once the damaged item is on its way back to us.
Can I return it after washing it?
No — washed or used items can’t be returned. Unwrap it and check the size and the feel before the first wash, while it’s still returnable.
