01 Is there a monthly fee or subscription?
No. The Frameo app is free on iPhone and Android, and sharing is unlimited — there's no subscription, storage tier, or renewal of any kind.
02 How do family members send photos to it?
They install the free Frameo app and you invite them to your frame. From then on they can send photos and videos from their own phone, wherever they are — the frame is connected to your Wi‑Fi and new photos appear within seconds.
03 Can it hang on the wall, or does it have to sit on a table?
Either. It hangs vertically or horizontally on the wall, or stands on a console, shelf, desk, or mantel. It does need to reach a power outlet — there's no battery — so plan for the cord when you pick the spot.
04 Does it play videos, and do they have sound?
Yes to both. Video clips play with audio through the frame's built-in speakers.
05 Can I add photos without using the app?
Yes — the frame has USB‑C and microSD ports, so you can load photos directly from a memory card or drive. That's usually the easiest route for older photo archives that were never on a phone.
06 Is it a good gift for someone who isn't tech-savvy?
That's who it's designed for. You can set the whole thing up before you give it — connect it to their Wi‑Fi, link the app, and load the first photos — so all they do is plug it in. After that, photos you send simply appear; there's nothing for them to manage.
07 What about shipping and returns?
This frame ships free, from our warehouses in California, New Jersey, and South Carolina. Returns are hassle-free for 90 days — if it isn't right for the room or the recipient, send it back.
